I really enjoyed this book, it started off with a bang! Ariel joined the mile high club and her sexual exploits continued from their. Ariel is headed to Russia to attend University to finish her degree before she starts working for the CIA, you see Ariel has special powers that she must keep hidden so she doesn't put anyone in danger. She has been raised with the knowledge that her mother's special powers is what had the Russian mafia kill her father, so from that moment on Ariel will not allow herself to get involved with anyone for fear that harm may come to them. At first I really didn't like that she felt that way but then as the book went on you could understand her reasoning. When Ariel went to live with her host family in Russia she met Pasha, the son of the host family she thinks he's attractive but she likes his father more...OH BOY! Anyway I really, REALLY liked Pasha, you'll have to read the book to see what happens with him ;) There is so much sex in this book I'm surprised my kindle didn't overheat. you have solo f, m/f, f/f, m/m, m/f/m/m....YEP!

To think it all started with a game of Scrabble!

Kira is a writer of erotic romance, she is currently gathering information to write her first BDSM romance, she also competes in Scrabble and trivia tournaments. Grahame Gaines is someone she met at a Scrabble tournament but she doesn't give him much thought until she sees him at a Kink club that she and her girlfriends went to check out.

I had a hard time believing the chemistry between the two, it just didn't seem genuine. I'm not sure why I couldn't connect with the characters but I think the fact that Grahame refused to give Kira a safe-word for slowing things down was a huge issue that I just couldn't get past it, especially since she was very new to the scene. My own hangup? maybe. Would I have liked Grahame more if not for that fact? doubtful. Grahame came off as an arrogant jerk, and not in the sexy Dom way, just a person I wouldn't want anyone I know associating with. Kira on the other hand was strong willed yet submissive, and I appreciated that about her up until she allowed things to be done to her that she wasn't into out of fear of never being with Grahame again.

While there were several things that I didn't like about this book it was still a decent read. Would I read more books by Minxie Wells? Yes. This story had a lot going for it, especially with the unique plot so I would definitely read more of her work.

Max and Joan are both so broken neither thinks they can be put together again but maybe, just maybe what they need is the love of the other. This story was so devastatingly beautiful I didn't want it to end. Absolutely my favorite in the series so far.

This book picks up with the explosion at the strip club, we find out what happened exactly and how Joan wound up with Max shot and bleeding in the back seat of her car.

Burn Down the Night (Everything I Left Unsaid, #3) by Molly O'Keefe

How does a stripper go from dancing to blowing things up?

Her sister Jennifer is being held by a cult leader Lagan and she is desperate to get her away from him and the other "wives" but her plan went to hell in a hand-basket when Max returned to the club to try and stop her from blowing everything up.

The story was ACTION PACKED in the first few pages that I couldn't believe all the things that were happening....and the most surprising was that it was just the beginning of the book. I was pulled in instantly and held captive right along with Max. Oh and the ride, the glorious, glorious ride was well worth the price of admission.
