Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins Collection ~ Book Review

The Montgomery Ink Fort Collins series begins with two second chance romances from the heart and have all the heat.

Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins Collection, a second chance romance collection featuring Inked Persuasion and Inked Obsession from New York Times bestselling author Carrie Ann Ryan is available now!

Inked Persuasion

Years ago, Annabelle Montgomery married not for love but for a promise of hope. When she lost him weeks later, she told herself she never needed those sentiments again. Only when she discovers years later that her new neighbor is her late husband’s brother, Annabelle finds she can’t quite shake the emotions she’s long since buried.

Jacob Queen vowed he’d never set eyes on Annabelle again. When they’re forced into each other’s lives once more, they realize that no matter how far they run, no distance can keep them apart forever. More than ghosts lay between them, and when they finally give in to temptation, walking away whole may no longer be an option.

Inked Obsession

When men in uniform showed up on Eliza Wilder-Strong’s doorstep, she knew her life would be irrevocably altered. She not only lost her husband, but the future she’d carefully planned. A year later, she’s looking to start over—beginning with a solo healing vacation. Only she never expects to see a familiar, tempting face along the way.

Beckett Montgomery refuses to want his little sister’s best friend—especially because she’s a widow. Yet there’s no stopping the connection between them. As the temptation to give in intensifies, so do the reasons they shouldn’t stay together.

Painful ghosts from both of their pasts stand in their way and sometimes it’s the living that can haunt you when you’re not looking.

This is a great collection; I read these two books when they were first released and  enjoyed them so I read them again.

In Inked Persuasion we have Annabelle Montgomery and Jacob Queen's story. This is a story of loss, misunderstandings, forgiveness, and passion.

Do you know that fine line between love and hate? Jacob finds out just how fine that line is because this man has it bad, and I loved it! You wonder how you can go from hating someone so much to changing your mind so quickly; what if you hated them because of a misunderstanding? What if it was easier for you to hate someone so you didn't feel the pain of losing someone so close to you? Would that change things? Read this story and then tell me how you feel because Carrie Ann Ryan did an excellent job creating two characters you couldn't help pull for. They had fantastic chemistry even when they didn't get along so you know it was like fireworks once they did.

If you have read previous Montgomery Ink books, you will want to add this one to your TBR because Annabelle is related to BOTH families....and you have to see how that all plays out! If you are new to Carrie Ann Ryan's Montgomery Ink World, now is the perfect time to jump in and see why so many people love this Family.

In Inked Obsession, we have Beckett Montgomery and Eliza Wilder's story. If you have read any of The Wilder Brothers Series, this is their sister Eliza's story, and you won't want to miss this one.

Eliza is a widower, her husband was killed in action, and now she has received more devastating news. This story had quite a bit of angst to it, and I will say that I disliked Eliza's in-laws from the moment they were introduced.

I would recommend this boxset to Adult Readers that enjoy STEAMY Contemporary Romances, New Adult Romances, Friends to Lovers, Enemies to Lovers, or Siblings Best Friend Tropes, Second Chance (after loss) Romances and those that enjoy Romances that involve large families.

Happy Reading!!!
