This book starts with a HOLY COW moment in Nessa's life, a moment that all things will be now known by, something that happened before and after her attack. But thankfully, things change rather quickly when her friends are called to the hospital. Ronan has PTSD and has the sweetest therapy dog, Dax; with Dax and Ronan's help, maybe Nessa will feel safe again.
Ronan and Nessa have been flirting for a while, and now that he has seen the light leave her eyes, he will do anything to get it back.
I liked the chemistry between Ronan and Nessa. What I liked, even more, was the way he cared for her. Ronan did everything he could to ensure that Nessa was protected not only by him but that she could protect herself if the need arose.
