From USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa comes holiday single dad, best friends romance.

I spent all my life being in love with Landon Miller.

I’m tired of pretending to be immune to that wide jaw, taut body, and woodsy scent.

Am I in love with him?

Sure, but he’s happy being a single dad and treating me like one of the guys.

Me on the other hand…

I’m getting ready to leave Kentbury for a new life.

A fresh start: it’s my Christmas present to myself.

That is until my best friend and his adorable daughter decide that they can’t let me go...

Now I have to choose between a new promising life and the two people I’ve been yearning for my entire life.

I initially read this book in 2018 when it was first released and enjoyed it. With this release, there have been some changes, mostly with people's names and editing, so I also enjoyed it.

I LOVE the single dad trope and the friends to lovers trope, and Claudia did a great job with not only the combination of those two tropes, but it was also a surprise you're a daddy and siblings best friend tropes as well. Four tropes and a Holiday Romance are all in one well-written novella, with you rooting for the couple and the cutest little girl right from the start.

Knightly (Lee) and Landon are friends and have been for a long time; Landon is best friends with Lee's brother as well, but what Landon doesn't know during their long friendship is that she has been not only harboring a crush on him she's been in love with him and loves his daughter as well. Now, the time has come for Lee to cut her losses and move on with her life, which means moving out of their small town to get some distance between them and hopefully find someone who makes her feel like Landon does. The news of Lee possibly moving hits Landon hard, and it's time for him to reevaluate things.

I listened to the audiobook and the narration by Teddy Hamilton and Muffy Newtown was well done. I really enjoyed the way they brought the story to life.

If you enjoy Contemporary Romances with some Steam, Single Dad Romances, Friends to Lovers Romances, Holiday Romances, or Small Town Romances, I recommend this book to you.

Happy Reading!!!
