Michelle Leighton is one author that I can guarantee will have me in tears while I am reading her books lately. I don't know how she does it, but she ALWAYS gets me to feel everything! And while I did cry while reading this book, I didn't need a full box of tissues because I laughed too. While I absolutely love the deeply emotional reads that Michelle Leighton has been writing I am thrilled that we are seeing some of her lighter side again as well.

Haley left home at nineteen after having her heart broken and hasn't returned in ten years. Now, she is heading home and she is in for a shocker....and it's not just in the form of Nixon.

Nixon will melt your heart with how he is with Haley. Their first encounter is HOT but there is much, much more to the way he is with her. I loved that he didn't take advantage of her and that he did handle her with kid gloves when needed.

The chemistry between Haley and Nix was great. "Never Have I Ever" is and will always be a great drinking game and I loved the way Michelle Leighton used it for Nix and Haley to get to know one another.

If you haven't read any books by Michelle Leighton yet, I suggest you start now because there are so many great books that she has written you'll want to read them all. If you enjoy cowboys or westerns this is a perfect read for you but I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good contemporary romance as well. Happy Reading!!!
