My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I am usually a big fan of Jackie Ashenden books but I just couldn't get into this story. Yes there is cheating, which I don't particularly like, but it was more than just that. I enjoy the bad-boy gets the good-girl stories but I think this bad-boy just wasn't my cup of tea. To say that I didn't like Zee would be an understatement, I really, really didn't like him, his dirty mouth was a major turnoff it wasn't sexy as I am sure the author was hoping it would come across, just to vulgar for my taste. That's not to say that someone else may not like it but for me...yeah no thanks!

Now as far as my like/dislike for Tamara, she's outright cheating on her boyfriend, they live in different states but they do see each other often and she knows that marriage is probably in their near future yet she gets involved with Zee without breaking off her relationship first. Then she feels bad about it for maybe a second or two and decides she doesn't care because she wants to be with Zee. Fine then please break off your relationship with your current boyfriend, and hey maybe let Zee know what he's getting into before you go any further.

OK, enough of my ranting. There were some things that I did enjoy about this book, first and foremost is the group of friends that Zee has, they are more like his family than his blood relatives and they have a great bond that I would like to find out more about. I am going to continue with the series and I look forward to reading Gideon's story because I am sure that man has one heck of a past and I know that when he and Zoe finally get together it will be unbelievable!
