Dorian Cage and Harper Wellsley's story is not all hearts and flowers; there's tragedy, secrets, loss, and so much more. I don't know who my heart hurt more for, Dorian or Harper, because they both have been through hell and back.

..Harper is a breath of fresh air. I really like her; she has a lot of sass and doesn't take crap from Dorian. He tries to keep his distance or keep her in the "friend zone," but she doesn't let that fly, especially since she wants him as much as he wants her. I enjoy it when Carrie Ann gives us characters that have great banter. Oh, and I have to mention Harper's puppy, Lucky, because he is the cutest and just steals the show whenever he's around. If he could speak, he would give good banter, too.

Dorian has always been a mystery in the prior books, which do not need to be read before this one, but in my opinion, it will enhance this story if you have read them.. We learn why he jumps every time his mother calls, and what secrets he's been holding onto. Ladies and Gents, it's a whopper of a secret, so buckle up and prepare yourself for not just one but two huge secrets to come to light.
