Wow, this book has a whole lot going on.
I have been dying to get my hands on Zach's story since the beginning, when there was something a little off about him. Was he a double agent? Was he a son of one of the Taggarts, and they didn't know? Oh, so many questions, and now we finally get all the answers we have been waiting for.
Devi Taggart and Zach are great together; their chemistry is sizzling, but will that be enough for Devi to forgive Zach when he pulled a disappearing act after their unforgettable weekend together? Well, she may not have a chance to protest when he shows up again because some horrible people know about her, and he is going to do everything in his power to protect her.
This story, as well as each book in the series, is based on one couple that can be read as a standalone, but there is a story arc that plays through each of the stories and will make each of the reads, in my opinion, more enjoyable if they are read in the order in which they are released. The story arc is still going strong, and wow, Devi may not be one of the Spy Kids, but she has certainly learned a thing or two, and it's a good thing because she needed to channel her inner spy kid several times throughout this story.
I recommend this book to readers who enjoy SPICY Romantic Suspense Reads, B-D-S-M Romances, Found Family Romances, Forced or Close Proximity Romances, On-The-Run Romances, and Second Chance Romances.
