If you have been following my reviews I don't think it comes as a surprise that I am not big into Dystopian Romances, what may surprise you is how much I am LOVING this series. The first book, Repressed Echoes, is holding strong as one of my top reads for 2024. This squeal was just as good, and I loved the curve ball at the end because I was hoping that was the case from the start. (see how I did that with no spoilers...LOL)
This book, while following the same story line as the first, follows a different couple so I do recommend reading this trilogy in the order it is being released. Arianna Lawson and Dominic Cavalleri are more alike than either of them realizes. Arianna is on a mission to find her sister and bring her back to their compound away from the crazy man that is trying to rule the world one injection at a time. Dom is right beside Ari hoping to get her to drop her guard a little bit and open up to him. Ari and Dom have crazy good chemistry, in the first book you could feel it bubbling up whenever they were together, and thankfully that simmer came to a full boil in this one so be prepared with a tall glass of ice water.
I would recommend this book to readers that enjoy STEAMY Romantic Suspense, Dystopian Romances, Grumpy/Sunshine Romances, Former Military Romances, Silver Fox Heroes or a Badass Heroine.
