Whew, this one is a hot one!

We met Aria Costa in her brother Marcello's book, VOW OF REVENGE; when she visited the Sicuro Academy during her short time there, she developed a crush on Gabriele Vitale. Now that she is a student at the prestigious school, she plans on making Gabriele fall for her.

A lot is going on in this story; some you may pick up on, and some you might miss if you aren't paying close attention. I loved the suspense surrounding who was blackmailing Aria and how it drove Gabriele to surrender his feelings for her and protect her with everything he had. Honestly, the chemistry was so strong between the two of them that he was bound to give in at some point, no matter how hard he tried to stay away from her.

I had one teeny tiny disappointment with this story: not all of my questions have been answered, and I am going to assume that this storyline will kind of continue with the next book because it has to do with the Russians, and the next book involves both the Italians and the Russians.

I recommend this book to Adult readers who enjoy STEAMY Contemporary Romances, Mafia Romances, New Adult Romances, Rival Family Romances, Forced Proximity Romances, or Friends to Lovers Romances.
