Leary Michaels is a hard working, no nonsense type of woman, one that doesn't have time for a relationship because all of her time is put towards winning cases for her clients. Leary is the good type of lawyer, the firm that she is with does not work for corporations, they only take on clients that other law firms turns away, the bottom of the barrel, the poorest of poor, the helpless. She is currently suing a Doctor and his Insurance company for malpractice. You see Dr. Asshole left Jenna with such deformity that she is unable to work in her field any longer and with raising a son that is severely autistic on her own she needs to work.

Reeve Holloway is the Defense lawyer. What else is there to be said about this...not much. Although, Reeve is a breath of fresh air he is sexy beyond measure, and he gives as well as he gets.

Sleeping with the Enemy comes to mind as a good term for this book.

The first encounter between Leary and Reeve is one that I will be thinking about the next time I'm on an elevator!

I have to say that Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite authors. She is very authentic in her writing, not only is there steamy sex scenes, but the story line itself is a good solid one, and lets not forget all the legalese that she uses. Very spot on. This was a great addition to the Legal Affairs series.
