I didn’t believe them when they said they would corrupt me.
I was wrong. So wrong.
The night my sister died, a piece of me died with her, so I made a vow.
I'm going to enroll at Spine Ridge University just like her, find the person responsible … and make them pay.
Until I meet three sick boys of the Skull & Serpent Society: Felix, Dylan, Alistair. Rude, heartless, vicious guys who are obsessed with making me regret I ever stepped foot on campus.
They make me a deal: My body in exchange for a glimpse at their violence.
Refusing them is impossible, denying them is insane.
They're rough, greedy, and every second with them is filled with depravity.
Their venom is jabbed straight into my heart and I’m sucked into their world.
All for the sake of revenge.
Until it becomes something more.
Something all four of us would kill for.
I’m happily slapping all these posters around my dad’s playground when some girl comes storming at me out of nowhere.
And with some girl, I mean a certain purple-haired violent little Valkyrie on a mission.
Before I can even so much as blink, she’s right up in my face.
The sting of her hand burns on the skin of my cheek.
Everyone in the hallway stops and stares, some even snigger, but she seems dead-fucking serious.
“Where the fuck did you get the nerve?” she growls at me.
I rub my cheek. Damn, she’s got some power shots for a small girl. “Hello to you too.”
She steals the poster I put on the bulletin board and holds it up in front of me. “Give me one good reason I shouldn’t smack your ass into the fucking hospital right now.”
Is that a challenge?
A devilish smirk forms on my face. “Nice pickup line. Ten out of ten, really gets me going.” I wink.
She rips up the poster into tiny pieces and throws it at me like confetti. “Is this your idea of helping out?” she growls. “Stealing my sister’s fucking diary and putting her private stuff all over the school?”
My God, she really is going for the full frontal attack here. I’m impressed. And weirdly aroused as well.
I raise a brow. “Calm down, people are staring at you.”
A handful of people have gathered around us, but her eyes are solely focused on me.
“Do I look like I give a fuck?” she yells back, her tits practically bursting out of the laced black off-the-shoulders top she’s wearing.
Oh yes … so very fucking sexy.
“You’d better take every one of these posters down before I—”
“You’ll what?” I interrupt, and I grab her arm. “Hurt me?”
I’d love to see her try, though.
I wonder how much pain she could give me.
Fuck me. I’m already riled up from the thought.
But now is not the time for pleasure.
I have no idea where to even start with this review. I guess the best insight I can give on what I thought of the book is to say that I read 780 pages in two days....two days people! There are times I can't finish a three hundred page book in that time frame but I did and I am so glad I had the time to do it because I did not want to put this book down at any moment.
Spine Ridge University is not your typical college, it's a place to study business for the very wealthy and connected to attend. It's also the place where Penelope Richard's sister committed suicide, so Pen transfers to the school with the sole intent of finding out who was bullying her to the point where she decided to end her life.
The first people Penelope wants to look into are three guys that are part of the Skull & Serpent Society, one of the many fraternities that are on campus, Felix Rivera, Dylan Caruso, and Alistair King, there was something in her sisters journal that has her believing they are behind it and if not they know who is. Things get rather interesting when the four of them make a deal to find the bully, especially since the three guys are pretty big bullies themselves.
So many twists, some may shock you some may not, but what will not come as a shock is the chemistry between the four...holy hotness batman! DO NOT READ THIS BOOK WHERE PEOPLE CAN READ OVER YOUR SHOULDER. Please take this seriously because this book has a bunch of triggers so make sure you check out the authors website for the full list.
I would recommend this book to those that enjoy STEAMY DARK Romances, Bully Romances, or Why Choose Romances.
