🪔Imogen🪔

What I'm about to tell you must remain here, in secrecy.

Among the shadows and the moon.

This story is full of blood and gore,

and a love unlike anything you've ever heard of before.

For I am the necromancer.

And I am here to steal your soul.

A soul meant for one purpose only.

To quench my own depraved desires.

This Halloween, beware of the circus. Please heed the warnings, this book is dark and twisted. Nightmares dwell in this cursed Cirque Diabollique. Tread lightly, for you might just lose your soul.

3.5 Unholy Hotness Stars

I soooo wish this story was longer. There was so much going on in this book but I felt there wasn't enough time to flesh it all out. Cirque Diabolique is an enchanted circus, but it's not your typical circus whatsoever, this circus is cast under a spell of darkness one that feeds off the lust and sexual desires of all that enter.

Necromancer Imogen Bastien has an act that many are "dying" to be a part of, her show in Cirque Diabolique has her performing center stage and resurrecting those that are chosen to be a part of her performance.

Imogen has two main lovers in her life, Lazarus and Dean, and this story is told from all three of their points of view. Both men fill a different role for Imogen but the common thread is the same...feed the darkness.

While this story is the first in the series I personally believe you will have a better understanding of the nature of things if you read BELLE MACABRE first. That book sets this one up nicely and will answer a lot of questions you may have at the beginning, especially about Lazarus.

There is a lot going on in this quick dark read and as I said earlier I do wish it was longer. I would have loved to see how certain things developed more over time. But, if you are looking for a STEAMY Dark read that has magical elements and you can read it in just a couple of hours I would recommend this book to you.

Happy Reading!!!

**I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for my Blog, Nadine's Obsessed with Books**
