I have been a fan of Aleatha's for a while now and when I read about Lena Montgomery in THE SIN SERIES I knew it was just a matter of time before we would get her story because there is soooo much about this intriguing woman that has you hoping she will eventually get her own story and ultimately her very own HEA. Thankfully we didn't have to wait too long.

The Blurred Lines Series is a multi Author series that contain Forbidden and Taboo Romances, SILVER LINING is what some would consider taboo due to the age difference, this is a reverse age gap where Lena is forty-three and CJ is Thirty-one, and I for one LOVED IT!

Workaholic Lena Montgomery is being forced to take a break for a week because someone is sending her threats and has crossed the line in other areas as well so she is going to try to unwind in Cancun. While there she meets CJ (Chandler Johns Thompson), who is also there because he needs to decompress after selling his company and figure out his next steps. Neither one really knows how to unwind since they are both workaholics, but maybe they can entertain one another and forget about real life for a week.

Only things don't always turn out the way you plan them now do they? I loved all the little twists and turns in this story and once you see who Lena's stalker is you may be surprised.

This book can be read as a standalone, but if you have read the SIN SERIES I highly recommend you read this book too. If you enjoy Steamy Romantic Suspense Reads, Reverse Age Gap Romances, Vacation Romances, or Steamy Taboo Standalone Romances I would recommend this book to you.
