Keeping his Princess by Tyleigh ~ Book Review

Release Date: June 3

I had big plans for my future. None of them included becoming my bully’s princess….

If I wanted to get into my dream college, I needed to up my volunteer game, and tutoring was the perfect way to do it.

Why did my newest pupil have to be him?

Ethan Madden may be the "too sexy for his own good" captain of the soccer team but that didn’t change what he had done.

See, Ethan was the guy who’d been making my life miserable since we were kids. And it didn’t seem like much had changed. He was still the cold, dark-hearted bastard he’d always been.

But, we aren’t kids anymore.

So, if tutoring Ethan was the only way to get what I needed, I was more than capable of doing the job and getting out quickly.

At least I thought I could do that until Ethan told me he wanted something, too—and it wasn’t just tutoring.

He wanted me.

Knowing him, he was willing to play dirty, too. What he didn’t know was that when it came to protecting my heart, so was I…

I had such high hopes for this book since I have enjoyed other books by this author (under a different pen name) but this one just didn't work for me. I honestly couldn't connect with either Jordan or Ethan, I love me some bully romances, dark or contemporary doesn't matter, but this one just didn't reach the potential it had. I do feel that the characters could have been more believable if they were in college rather then seniors in high school as far as their panache for "rough sex" especially since she's a virgin and hasn't experienced anything yet, but the bullying was spot on because it was what you would experience in grade school when the boy likes you so he picks on you. There are other things that are thrown into the story that make you wonder what will happen next but unfortunately things didn't go the way I was hoping. Maybe there'll be a second book and I'll get the character that I was interested (Neil) in there, but as things stand now this was an okay read that needs some work to really pull it together.

I would recommend this book to those that enjoy YA Bully Romances or YA Enemies to Lovers Romances. There are mixed reviews on this book but you never know you may absolutely love this story as so many have.

Happy Reading!!!

**I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for my Blog, Nadine's Obsessed with Books**

Meet Tyleigh

Tyleigh is Kristie Leigh's alter ego.

She'd been having darker stories pop into her mind and she couldn't stop thinking about the so here they are.

Kristie/Tyleigh is a feisty redheaded Canadian/American who fell in love with romance novels when her friend Phil bought her a Kindle that hasn't left her side since.

Her favorite books to read are anything taboo and super sick and twisted.

She grew up in Burlington, Ontario, Canada but moved to South Florida in 2013 where she now lives with her high school sweetheart and three kids.
