| I’ve read one book in the Talon Series and one book in the Redwood Series so believe me when I say this can be read as a complete standalone, and a big reason for that is we have the next generation! So Cool! Kaylee is sent down south to find a missing pack mate and certain things come to light while she is there, first off she tracked down more than just her missing pack mate, she tracked down her fated mate! Jason is with the Starlight Pack, but he's not a pack member - he's more of a friend of the pack since he's human and not a shifter, he's a scientist and is helping them figure out what is killing wolves, witches, and some humans in the area. So lets just say the first time Jason and Kaylee meet didn't put him in the best light. I loved how Kaylee's wolf knew exactly who Jason was even though he was found in a compromising position. I also loved the way they were so protective of one another right away even before they realized what was happening. This story has a lot going on and I cannot wait to see what happens next for Jason and Kaylee and the other members of each of the packs. I would recommend this book to those that enjoy Steamy Paranormal Romances. Happy Reading!!! |
