Rule #1: Don’t fall in love with your best friend.
Tally Kerr broke Rule #1 over a decade ago—a mistake that ended in the worst way possible.
Rule #2: Don’t date an artist.
Tally recently broke Rule #2, and the artist broke up with her. The consequence? She’s stuck curating a three-week exhibit for the jerk, and the only thing worse than dealing with him and his new girlfriend are the pity looks from the other artists.
So, she calls in a favor from her former best friend.
Sam Deschenes didn’t expect to see Tally again. And he knows he’s to blame. So when she says she’s coming to town and needs his help, Sam can’t say no—not even when she asks him to be her pretend boyfriend.
Tally wants nothing more than to forget Arizona, which is why this charade is critical. She’ll replace all her memories with fake ones and prove she never really loved Sam.
As the days tick by, remembering Arizona—and all the reasons she fell for her best friend—come too easily. When their scorching desire incinerates the line between real and fake, will Tally keep up the act or will she break rule number one all over again?

I have been really enjoying the Country Love Collection by Dr. Rebecca Sharp, I don't listen to much Country music so it's fun to listen to the songs that each of the books are inspired by. This song was inspired by ARIZONA BY JOSH KERR. Each of the books in this collection are standalone's and are completely independent of one another so they can be read in any order you choose.
Tally Kerr and Sam Deschenes were childhood friends, best friends, but suddenly things changed and Tally found herself attending college in NYC and no longer in contact with Sam. Fast forward a decade and Tally is returning home to Arizona to curate an Art Exhibit with her cheating ex so she calls in a favor from Sam...and that is when things get really interesting.
Have you ever thought about the one that got away, or the what-if guy? Well, that is what Sam is for Tally so she knows enlisting his help for the next three weeks isn't the smartest thing to do but it's what she feels is the best thing to do under the circumstances. Sam will pretend to be her boyfriend so everyone sees that she is over her ex and concentrate on the show and not her love life...oh how sill that thought is.
Sam and Tally have great chemistry and a lot of it has to do with their friendship. This is why I love the friends-to-lovers trope, there is a deeper connection there and it's always fun to see when things turn from friends into something more.
This was a fun and steamy read that can be read in an afternoon, so if you are looking for a steamy contemporary romance or a great friends-to-lovers romance I would recommend this book to you.
Happy Reading!!!
