I am a huge fan of Marie Force's Fatal series so when the opportunity presented itself for me to read an ARC of Sex God I jumped at the chance. I will not compare the two because they are totally different but I will say that I was thrilled with this read, and in my honest opinion this lighter side of Ms Force is a great addition to her repertoire.

Garrett and Lauren have been friends since the sixth grade and the one and only time they tried to take their relationship to the next level it was an EPIC FAIL! How did one get the title of Sex God? Well Garrett's prowess in this particular field is what has all of the women calling him a Sex God so why did his one night with Lauren go so poorly? If you ask Lauren it's because of her, thanks to all of the crap that her ex-husband filled her head with...he not only physically abused her but he definitely did a lot of emotional damage as well. Garrett has one week to convince Lauren that she isn't to blame for their one failed attempt but he also has to work her out of his system before he moves on.....

I did not read Sex Machine and you do not need to in order to read this book, each story can be read as a standalone. That being said I will go back and read Sex Machine at a later date.
