Elijah and Holly's story has come to an end...and what an ending it was! This story, actually the whole trilogy has been one heck of a ride.
This book picks up right where GOLD MINE left off with no recap so if you're like me and have read a zillion books in between I would go back and read your review to refresh your memory on how things were left off, although I will say that once you start reading you start to remember things....or at least I did.
Holly and Elijah are on the run yet again, will they be able to finally get away this time or has their luck finally run out? There is a secondary story that plays out and I am wondering if we will get more from this couple in the future....Skye if you're reading this I have both hands waving in the air as I jump up and down screaming YES I want more!!!
This has been a doozy of an emotional rollercoaster ride and I honestly didn't want to get off. Skye Warren did a wonderful job with giving us characters that I was rooting for right from the start and when things didn't look good I was rooting harder.
The North Brothers are far from boring but I can honestly say that Elijah has led the most dangerous life of them all. I not only recommend this trilogy but I recommend reading the brothers' books as well. Liam North is the eldest and can be found here - The North Security SeriesJoshua North is the middle brother and his story is about second chances - Audition can be read as a standalone but I think you'll appreciate it more if you read it after Liam's trilogy, and Of course there is Elijah the youngest of the brothers whose story in my opinion should be read after the others but can be read on it's own if you choose to do so. Start with the free prequel Hidden Gem then dive right into The Diamond Trilogy No matter what way you choose to read the North Brothers stories I think you will enjoy them as much as I did.
