If you have read the Driven Series by K. Bromberg you're going to want to add this to your TBR shelf, and if you haven't this is a great introduction into the world. Dr. Rebecca Sharp takes us on a ride that is filled with determination, tragedy, courage, roadblocks, but most of all passion.
Kasey Snyder is used to not being taken seriously as a woman in a male dominated sport things haven never been easy for her, but after one race everything goes into the crapper and she's suspended from NASCAR for the season. But you know the saying, things happen for a reason....well Kasey gets her shot at being the only female driver at the Indy 500 this year, so maybe just maybe things will change for her.
Garret "G" Gallagher has been out of the racing scene for several years but now hes back as head mechanic and hes tasked with building Kasey's car. This Irishman has a few secrets that he is keeping close to his chest until one fateful day when Kasey sees to much.
I really enjoyed Kasey and Garret together, they had great chemistry and I enjoyed their love hate relationship. What I wasn't fond of was Garret's Irish Brogue, my mom and all my aunts were born and raised in Ireland and I have listened to the brogue my entire life but while reading it it felt off, maybe it was more Scottish then Irish? But it definitely wasn't the Irish brogue I was brought up with.
If you are a fan of The Driven Series, or if you enjoy sports romances I would recommend this book to you.
