“Trace,” she pants, clinging tighter as she tosses her head back.

It’s an offering. She’s inviting me to put my lips on her skin and taste her. She’s being vulnerable to me, giving herself to me.

No way I’m refusing that.

I wrap one hand around her nape again and squeeze, compelling her to tilt her head back. Yes… Now, she’s utterly mine, and I drag my lips up her soft, so-pale throat, skating my way across her jaw as I work my fingers into her long tresses and slowly close my fist, then tug her in exactly where I want her.

I gobbled this up in one day, it was HOT but more than that it has some really likable characters once I got past the reason they were initially introduced.

I have been hoping Trace would get his HEA because this single dad was thrown for a loop when he found out he was a father but he handled it perfectly. He turned his "player" days around so he could be the best father possible for his son and it was great to see, so he deserves some love in his life. Masey is a long time friend of Harlow's, a beauty influencer, and has recently ended a long term relationship. I connected with Masey right away and I was rooting for her and Trace pretty quickly.

Trace Weston and Masey Garrett have not had it easy over the last several months as you can see and they are both in need of a night of good fun both in and out of the bedroom. But can they end things after just one night? With all the baggage they have that is all Masey is looking for but Trace thinks he may just want a little more...

I have to be honest this story almost had me not liking Harlow as much anymore because of the way she set her brother-in-law up with Masey like he was a gigolo but she really did have good intentions, just a weird way of going about them. What made me look past everything was the chemistry between Trace and Masey because there was no denying that they had it, and it was phenomenal.

This story was a great addition to the series and it has set up the next book perfectly but don't worry each of the books can be read as standalone's because they revolve around one couple and don't end with a cliffhanger but I would recommend reading them in order since they do revolve around family and friends and have a common thread that runs through them. But whichever way you decide to read them I am sure you will enjoy them because they are each great reads.
