Having spent the last two and a half months with my bosses, the thought of spending the holidays alone isn’t ideal. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what I feared I would be doing.
Or so I thought.
I probably should’ve learned long ago not to underestimate the men I work for. They do have a way of surprising me when I least expect it.
While I find myself immersed in a lifestyle I am still getting familiar with, spending time with my bosses is proving to be more than I’d originally anticipated. Not only am I experiencing what it means to offer my submission freely, I’m also experiencing something else.
Something that feels a lot like love.
Until they switch things up and make me choose between them. That’s not something I’m capable of doing. After all, not only am I falling in love with one of my bosses, it appears my heart already belongs to two. Except one of those two seems to be rejecting me and I’m at a loss. If only I could let things go back to the way they were in the beginning, return to our original arrangement. If I could do that, it might work out.
Too bad my heart doesn’t seem to be listening to reason.
This is the second part of a duet - both books are being published on the same day. This book is not for the faint of heart. It contains explicit sexual content, including, but not limited to BDSM, swapping, sharing, voyeurism, exhibitionism, m/m, m/f/m, and m/m/f encounters.
Have you read my review for the first book in the Duet Office Intrigue? If not you can see it here: Nadine Bookaholic's review of Office Intrigue Let me start by saying that this book picks up right where the first one leaves off and it is imperative that you read both books in the duet.
This was an unbelievable read, I had started the first book knowing this was going to be a bit different than I was used to with Nicole's books, and when I finished it I jumped right into this one because I just couldn't get enough. Not only was it extremely HOT but all five of the main characters were great. Nicole Edwards does a remarkable job in not only making Luci, Landon, Langston, Justin, and Ben likable characters she also does a wonderful job with the secondary characters as well.
In this story we see how the relationships evolve not only inside the office but outside as well, this really start to change the dynamics of this unusual relationship during the week the office is closed for Christmas and New Years, during this time secrets were revealed all while Luci was submerged further into the BDSM lifestyle. During this holiday break we get to meet the twins parents, King and Mel (whom I loved meeting), and we finally meet Luci’s friend who told her about the secretarial position with the PR company who was keeping secrets of her own, and we are gifted with a super HOT BDSM Christmas.
I am trying so hard to be careful about spoilers because I know that I wouldn't like it if I knew to much before I had read the books myself, I can tell you that both books are told in the POV of Luci, and the bosses, Landon, Langston, Justin, and Ben. This added an extra layer to the story then if we had just read it in Luci's Point of View. You will notice in the authors blurb that this book not only contains various BDSM elements but it also contains various sexual grouping, which contain but aren't limited to MF, MM, MMF, MFM. So be warned before you enter that there are really no holds barred with this duet.
I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next because there is definitely going to be another book if not two n a spin-off of this duet, I really need more of Ben, Justin, Luci, Landon, and Langston. Oh one more thing I LOVED all of the pet names the men had for her: Gumdrop - Ben Snowden, Sweet Girl - Landon Moore, Princess- Justin Parker, Pet - Langston Moore, aren't they just great!
About the Author:
Nicole lives in Texas with her husband and their youngest of 3 children. The two older ones have ventured out in the world on their own. She has a beautiful granddaugther and a rather spoiled grand-puppy.. Oh, she and Colt also have four dogs. Most of the time, you can find her hiding in my writing cave. If she's not there, she's probably hanging out with the family, reading, or watching hockey and football. One thing for sure... Nicole is always trying to have fun.
