Diana Armitage has convinced a young woman who suffered a brutal assault to come and stay with her so she can protect her while she healed; the only thing is this isn't something Diana has experience doing. Diana suffered her own attack years earlier, and while vastly different, there is one common denominator, her father, the lawyer.
Big Petey has been a constant throughout all of the Chaos books, and I loved watching him impart his wisdom to everyone in this book. Petey stole every page he was on, I love that old man.
I cannot go into more detail without giving spoilers; what I can say is that I loved being back in the MC world Kristen Ashley has created. This book had me expressing a full range of emotions, including anger and huge, ugly cry tears. When you go to read this book, because I highly recommend you do, I would advise having tissues handy and possibly having some bubble wrap around your Kindle for when you want to throw it because I wanted to do that a couple of times while reading too.
The narration done by Joseph Discher, James Lurie, and Stella Bloom, was phenomenal. They did an amazing job of bringing Hugger, Diana, Big Petey, and the others to life.
I recommend this book to readers who enjoy Kristen Ashley's OG Books, especially the Choas Series, Contemporary Romances, Slow Burn Romances, Opposites Attract Romances, Close Proximity Romances, Curvy Girl Romances, or Motorcycle Club Romances.
