This trilogy has taken us on a harrowing ride through a dystopian nation no one wants to see. A greedy person doesn't know when he has enough, enough money, enough power because for him, it would never be enough, and in all that greed of his, he turned the country into something that didn't resemble the United States as we all know it. It had become a country of people dying because they were taking a drug that was promised to be the "Fountain of Youth," only they became addicted to it, and it slowly killed them, which left towns in ruins and children without parents.

In this final book of the trilogy, we are on the edge of our seats to see if Grace Cromwell, the leader's wife, can lead the rebellion along with her ex-husband Tristan Holder and save the people from his dictatorship. But that's not all. OH NO, Rebecca gives us the story of First Love and Second Chances. We get to go back in time and see when Grace and Tristan first met, how their love grew, and precisely what happened to push her into Luthor's nonloving arms.

I not only loved this final book and the WHOPPER of a WOOOO, WHAT? DID SHE REALLY DO THAT? Moment, but the entire trilogy. We were left with an ending that leads me to believe we may revisit this series at some point in the future, and I will be looking forward to it.
