Nash knew precisely who he wanted to kiss at midnight, and he didn’t give a godd@mn that they hadn’t had a conversation in two years or that everything between them was in shambles.

WICKED AND RUTHLESS is the ninth book in the WICKED LOVERS: SOLDIERS FOR HIRE SERIES, but it can be read as a standalone as it is the first book in Nash and Haisley's Duet. Their second book, WICKED AND BOUND, is scheduled to be released later this year.
I couldn't wait to get my hands on Nash and Haisley's story because they had popped up in previous books, and you could tell their story would rock. Shayla doesn't disappoint readers with this read; hot and Steamy, Suspenseful, and Intriguing, I didn't want to put it down.
After leaving town for two years, Haisley is back, but she doesn't plan on getting reacquainted with her ex even after a HOT New Year's Eve kiss. Only Nash has other plans for her. He intends on winning her back, even if he has to be a little sneaky about how he does it.
Several girls from the area have disappeared, and it's up to Nash to find out what is happening to them and what ties the Mall to their disappearance. Haisley is working for the land developer who built the mall. Does he have anything to do with the missing girls? Can Haisley and Nash work together to find out what is happening to them without falling for one another again? Only time will tell.
This story ends on a cliffhanger, and I am dying to know what happens next. December cannot come soon enough.
