Xavier and Clara's story is one that I have been waiting for since the beginning of the series, yes that is a long time to be waiting but luckily we didn't have to wait any longer because there are still more books in the series to come.

X and Clara have been best friends since kindergarten well, that was until two years ago when something happened and they stopped talking to one another. We all have been speculating on what happened, including his siblings, but now we get the full story of what happened then and we get to watch how they work through things in order to get the HEA that they both want now.

I enjoyed Xavier and Clara's story but I felt there was too much unneeded angst in it, one or maybe two things would have been sufficient but I didn't think it needed everything that was put in it. Now mind you this is only my opinion and your opinion will differ, I have seen plenty of Five Stars given and I hope you enjoy this book enough that you will rate it five stars as well, but for me at this point of time I felt as if it was just to much.

This was a Steamy Friends to Lovers that was a bit emotional at times, I would suggest keeping a few tissues handy...I know I needed them. I would recommend this book to anyone that has been enjoying this series, enjoys Steamy Contemporary New Adult Romances, Sports Romances, Best Friends to Lovers Romances, Large Family Romances, or Small Town Romances.
