So this is going to sound really strange since this is book #22 in the CERBERUS MC Series but this is the first book I am reading in this series, there I said it I am jumping in at book #22! You may wonder why I am jumping in now and the answer is simple, I had been reading the BLACKBRIDGE SECURITY Series which recently ended and the men of Cerberus popped up to help them out at times of need and in the last book they were going to help them out so there I went too. Lucky for me this book was able to be read without reading the prior books in the series.
Landon and Rick had been friends most of their lives until one fateful night changed things, but it wasn't easy for them to part ways since their families were so entwined together in the MC. I totally felt Rick's pain with never knowing what was going to happen with Landon but on the other hand Landon was having a very hard time reconciling things and he wasn't talking about it with any one so no one knew what was really going on in his head.
Marie James did a fantastic job with this best friends to enemies to lovers story. I really enjoyed all the ups and downs she took us on, sometimes the rollercoaster was a bit bumpy but when things smoothed out it was a great ride.
I am in for the rest of the series and will go back and read what I missed, which is a lot so I'm not sure if it will be a major binge read or just one at a time when my schedule allows.

I'm inching up on the BIG 4-0. The gray hairs are doubling what seems like daily, and the wrinkles and laugh lines are more pronounced than ever.
I have an amazing husband (Married just over 15 years.)
We have two boys we're doing our best to raise as respectful gentleman.
I have a master's degree in criminal justice which I used to work as a juvenile probation office until deciding to write full-time in June of 2019. So that means there's usually always some criminal/law element to my novels.
If I'm not writing; I'm reading.
My favorite genres recently are bully/reverse harem and enemies to lovers. Maybe I'm reliving my traumatic teen years through the girls who actually end up with the boys. (Not that I would change my history since it's gotten me exactly where I need to be!)
I love coffee. I miss carbs. Music is LIFE. I try not to be too serious.
