What an epic conclusion to the series!
I have to start off by saying this ending was phenomenal! It was everything I hoped for and much more. This series started out slow for me but with each book I fell deeper into the world of unknowns and craved more. With every twist and turn I was caught in the web of fae's, Deamon's, Demigod's, and human's with special powers, it was a mystical escape from reality and I loved it.
This book picks up right where the last one left off, I would highly recommend reading the series in order, with an act of betrayal so devastating I couldn't believe it never mind see it coming. What happens when you put your trust in the wrong people and the ones that you dislike are really your ally's? It's a question that may pop up at some point in your life but be grateful you aren't trying to save earth when you find out.
Carrick and Finley's love is a story for the ages. It's one that will go on forever no matter what is thrown at them, especially after all they have been through. THE RISE OF FORTUNE AND FURY is an action pact, edge of your seat read. I highly recommend this series to anyone that enjoys Paranormal or Urban Fantasy Saga's.
