Saving Kylie by Taryn Quinn ~ Book Review

Saving Kylie: A Small Town Second Chance Romance

by Taryn Quinn

She asked for his help…and fell into his bed.

Justin Norton has put his feelings for Kylie, his college ex, into a box. Or so he thinks…until she ends up hurt in his cabin on a snowy night just before Thanksgiving.

Suddenly, giving thanks takes on a whole new steamy meaning.

But she's running from trouble and he's dealing with his own demons, putting their chance of a happy holiday in danger.

Unless saving Kylie turns into her saving him right back.

Author's Note: Saving Kylie is a standalone novel set in Turnbull, NY, near our small town Crescent Cove. It has a happily-ever-after with no cliffhanger.

*Saving Kylie was previously published as Melt by Cari Quinn in 2013 and has been lightly re-edited.

Saving Kylie was previously published as MELT by Cari Quinn and has been lightly re-edited, since I hadn't read the previous book I couldn't tell you what changes were made but what I can tell you is that this was a fun second-chance, friends-to-lovers romance that was very steamy so you probably wouldn't want to be reading this book while on public transportation.

Kylie and Justin had been friends in college and had a drunkin' ONS which was not the best so Kylie assumed that Justin just didn't do it for her. Fast forward several years and now Kylie is a Bartender in Turnbull, New York and Justin has just moved back to the area and is a High School Counsler, after running into one another at the bar where Kylie works they rekindle their friendship but that all changes two nights before Thanksgiving when Kylie calls Justin with urgency in her voice saying she needs him.

Justin saves Kylie from more that just an overturned snowmobile that night and she saves him right back. I loved not only the chemistry between the two but the friendship. Justin has a past that makes it hard for him to believe in certain things but Kylie is the perfect person to help him navigate his way through the storm.

This was a great read and I love the way it ties into the Crescent Cove Series. I hope to see more from the folks in the little town of Turnbull in the future.

If you enjoy friends-to-lovers romances with tons of steam this is the book for you! This story will suck you in once you start so make sure you have a couple of hours to sit and enjoy it because once you start you wont want to put it down.

Happy Reading!!!

**I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for my Blog, Nadine's Obsessed with Books**
