This story is one that I was most anticipating since the series began because of the dynamics between Layla and Pierce, you could tell they still cared about one another but they were talking about getting a divorce and it just didn't make sense....but now all the questions I had have been answered and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Claudia takes us on a journey of two broken people finding love in one another but still being so damaged by their pasts that they can't seem to trust the happiness or even trust in one another until the reality of loosing what they have is more then they can bare. This is not a journey along a straight road we are along for all the twists and turns as both Layla and Pierce work through everything to find their true happiness within themselves as well as one another.

Some of this story overlaps the first two books so I would suggest reading those first so this one doesn't spoil anything for you, but that is only a suggestion because this can be read as a standalone if that is how you choose to read it.
