I honestly don't even know where to begin with this review, there was so much going on and I don't want to spoil anything for you because believe me you have to experience each of the emotions you are going to feel first hand.
I found myself on the edge of my seat through most of this book with everything that was happening! From Paris, to the Italian countryside, and finally New York City, Holly and Elijah had me captivated every step of the way.
This is the second part of the Diamond trilogy and it MUST be read in order, the first book DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH ended with a cliffhanger and this book picks up about a year after that one left off. Holly Frank is trying to help her sister not only kick the cocaine addiction she has but also repay all of her debts which is not as easy as it sounds especially when there are so many people after her.
Adam Black (Bisset), Elijah North, and the Lieutenant Colonel (Mark Jefferson) each want something from Young Adult Author Holland Frank but only one of them holds her heart.
Elijah North, my heart breaks for him and his brothers, Liam and Joshua, they experienced such horrible abuse at the hands of their father when they were younger and all three of them are fighting demons because of it. I think Elijah, even though he is the youngest, has the most horrific past and I am hoping that he will get some closure in the next book.
Skye Warren is taking us on an erotic journey that pushes the boundaries but that is just the way Holly likes it 😉 So get ready for an intense adventure that will captivate you and not let you go until the very last word.
