Hide & Seek (Brantley Walker: Off the Books #3) by Nicole Edwards ~ Book Review

With the holidays nearing, Brantley Walker and Reese Tavoularis are getting settled, both personally and professionally. For Reese, dealing with Brantley’s about-face regarding the size of the task force is easy. It’s meeting the parents that he’s worried about.

On the work front, the Off the Books task force has a stack of cold cases that need to be tackled, but two new cases keep them moving across the great state of Texas. One of which turns into a dangerous game of hide and seek.

I am LOVING this series. My love for it goes beyond the relationship between Brantley and Reese, I enjoy JJ, and Baz, and just about everyone else that has been a part of Off The Books, except the bad guys of course. Ms. Edwards has been gifting us with some really good crimes, well not good but you know what I mean, that the OTB Task Force needs to help solve. Some of them have been cold cases and some current, some a combination of both. This time they are looking for a missing boy, and then a missing mom of six. Yes they have their hands full which is why the Task Force is growing and new team members are being hired, it's going to be a lot of fun watching how the new team member mesh together.

Have you met the parents of your significant other? Do you remember how nervous you were? Well it's that time, Reese and Brantley are officially meeting each other's parents so let the fun begin...lol. This part of the story added a little bit of lightness overall to an otherwise intense story which I appreciated. I'm really enjoying watching these two grow closer together.

I cannot wait to see what Nicole Edwards has in store for us next with the Off the Books Task Force because this series is one I am really looking forward to continuing, each of the books are so captivating. If you enjoy MM romances and a good whodunit, this is the series for you.

Happy Reading!!!
