I was fortunate and received an advanced reviewers copy of BLOCKED by USA Today Bestseller Heather Long, this was such an enjoyable read and I cannot wait to see what happens to the rest of players on the New Orleans Cajun Rage Hockey Team so much so that I have pre-ordered my copy.
In Blocked, Archer Durham is supposed to be hiding out since a sex tape of him has been leaked to the press only things don't go according to plan and honestly with a man as vibrant as Archer how could they?
Hoshi Sato has just won "This Girl's Got Talent" and is now making the circuit which includes filming a holiday special in New York, which includes her staying at the same hotel as Archer.
I really enjoyed the chemistry between Archer and Hoshi, he was protective of her right from the start and I appreciated that she was smart enough not to fight him and let him guide her through the beginning of her new found stardom.
If you have read Heather Long's Some Like it Easy then you will remember George, who is Archer's cousin, he makes an appearance in this book...but fear not if you haven't read the series because while his Royal family is mentioned a few times this can be read as a standalone.
