Miranda is working two jobs to put herself through college to say that she has no time for a relationship would be an understatement, but when Jake the Hot Hockey Player starts flirting with her can she believe that he really wants her and not another notch on his bedpost?

Jake is having his place renovated so he is living at hotel where Miranda is a housekeeper and after the first time they meet while she is cleaning his room things don't exactly go well. Miranda is convinced that he is going to have her fired but is completely taken by surprise when her boss tells her that Jake insists that she is the only one that he wants cleaning her room. I have to mention that Miranda's boss is a total ass and I never really understood why he was always getting on her about things.

I really enjoyed the way Jake and Miranda interacted and flirted with one another even though they both new that they shouldn't be....well, I need to correct that statement because Miranda is the only one of the two that had doubts because if she got caught her boss would fire her. Jake had his own reasons that he shouldn't be getting involved with anyone and that had to do with the fact that he was "dating" the hockey team's owners' daughter but he didn't care they would just need to keep it a secret. Yep he sort of was...but not really dating someone. If CHEATING is a big no-no for you, you really don't need to worry about that with this story.

This was a sweet story of the rich famous athlete falling for the quite girl that works hard to put herself through college while sharing a tiny apartment with her sister. This may seem like your typical story of rich guy meets poor girl but it's not, it's oh so much more!
