Alec and Theresa have been friends for years and Alec always had feelings for her he even told her that he loved her...but then he took it back....strange yes but you'll understand once you read the story.
Theresa is holding a fundraising bachelor auction and she calls Alec desperate for him to fill a spot in the auction for someone that bailed. Things don't go the way either of them thought they would and it leads us on a journey of funny mishaps and questionable acts. I found myself laughing out loud a few times reading this book.
I enjoyed the relationship that Theresa and Alec had, it was a true friendship that developed into more during a natural progression.
This is the third book in the series and it can be read as a standalone, which is what I did, but I feel that if I had read the first two books I would have known more about the secondary couples and I would have been able to watch the progression of Alec & Theresa's friendship evolve into something more over time.
