Warner and Imogen's story was one that I had been waiting for because when Warner was traded to the Florida Fury we could see the animosity between Ford, Imogen's brother, and Warner I knew there was going to be a great back story there and Piper Rayne did not disappoint me at all. In fact I was caught off guard with a huge shocker and if you've read any of my past reviews you know that's hard to do because I normally pick up on clues but this one was like BAM! and all of the air was sucked out of my lungs...and that bumped this right up to a five star read for me. I loved the connection between Imogen and Warner, it was so strong that even though they had been broken up for years they still felt so strongly about the other. So much so that once they were able to work through things they were able to really let themselves be a peace again. But things with Ford were a different story.... I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys Steamy Sports Romance, New Adult Romances, Enemies to Lovers, or Second Chance at Love Romances. Happy Reading!!!
