I had been hoping Curly would get his own book when he was first introduced in Little Jack because this man deserves a happily ever after and I am sooo thrilled that he is finally getting it and not only that we also have a New Chapter of the Hell's Handlers to fall in love with as well!
Travis, aka Curly, spent thirteen years in prison for a crime he didn't commit now that he has been out for several months he feels he needs to head back to Florida and with the Hell's Handlers standing behind him he's confident he will be able to start the new Chapter and find the brotherhood he had always wanted.
Brooke left an abusive marriage and has been getting her life back on track, she fosters dogs that need a little extra TLC and helps train them so they can be placed with a loving family. Needless to say when Brooke finds out about a Dog Fighting Ring close to her home she isn't happy about it and wants it stopped.
Both Brooke and Curly have been hurt in the past so they have each vowed to themselves that they will never fall for someone again, and you know that idea is thrown out the window when they meet. I loved Curly in Little Jack and now that I know more about him I love him even more! Brooke is the perfect woman for him, she's feisty and independent, she has a loving heart and is kind to everyone...unless they cross her. The chemistry between the two was smokin' hot.
This was an excellent intro to the new series, I look forward to watching each of these new MC Brothers find the perfect person for them. If you enjoy Romantic Suspense, MC Romances, or are looking for a Steamy read that features a Bad Boy & Good Girl, this is the book for you.
