Sexy Lies and Rock & Roll by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Another great read from Sawyer Bennett, not only is the sexy musician one to swoon over but Emma is someone that I would love to be friends with. Evan and Emma are as different as two can be but it's the differences that pull them together like two magnets.
I loved the quiet, straight-laced, prim and proper, yet a bit quirky Emma, she was a great heroine and just the person that up-and-coming indie rock star Evan needs in his life. Emma isn't happy with the law firm she is with, she wants to be a contract lawyer and has been sending her resume out to various firms unbeknownst to her father whom she works with, so when her boss tells her that she is to go and help out Evan Stone, who has been falsely accused of murder, she really isn't happy. Little did she know that this chance meeting would change her world!
When Evan first meets Emma he sees a fire in her eyes and knows instantly that he wants more than a professional relationship with her so he makes a deal with her, for Emma to come on tour with him for one month in exchange for something that she really, really wants, now can he charm her pants off in less than a month?
This was a sweet and sexy read, it had some angst, and you get a HFN/HEA ending!!! I would recommend this book to anyone that has read Sawyer Bennett's books before, and if you are looking for a new author this would be a great introduction in the world of Sawyer Bennett Books.
